Delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, from the app, at any time. Here is how, what is deleted and what stays.
How to delete the account in the app
- Sign in to the app.
- Open the account menu, then Settings.
- At the bottom of the page, press Delete account. You see what is deleted, what stays and what happens to each of your groups.
- Press Send the code. We email you a 6-digit code: type it and press Delete my account. An account made with a phone number, without an email, confirms by signing in again instead.
- You get an email that the account is deleted. From then on you can't sign in with it, and the same email can be used for a new account.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone number and photo.
- Your places on the maps, your preferences, your notification settings and your devices.
- Your sign-ins on every device, the links to Apple, Google or Facebook and your own AI keys.
- A paid plan stops at once. The days left are not paid back.
- AI credits you bought and haven't used are lost.
What stays, and why
- Your comments, votes and shared expenses stay with the group under "Former member", so the others keep their plan and their accounts. Your chat messages stay as "Message deleted".
- A group you own goes to its longest-standing helper or member. A group with nobody else in it is closed.
- Payments, invoices and bookings stay for as long as the law asks (accounting and tax), linked to the deleted account, without your name.
If you are an organizer
While a departure has people signed up or money in progress (a payment, a refund or a dispute), the account can't be deleted yet. The screen lists those departures, with links: cancel or close them first. Then your organizer profile and the departures with nobody signed up leave the site.
If you can't sign in anymore
Write to support@sivamo.app from the email of the account, or tell us the phone number of the account, and ask for it to be deleted. Support deletes it the same way, and you get the same confirmation.
